Synopsis
for unison/SATB choir and organ
Geoffrey Webber has made a skilful arrangement for SATB of Peter Tranchell's unison setting of Heber's well-known hymn; both are presented here. The harmonies display Tranchell's typical style and need some careful tuning.

What Reviewers Are Saying
The striking chromaticism of the organ part in the unison version (especially on aour sins are deada) is skilfully incorporated in the SATB in a way that makes vocal sense. The choir is supported throughout by the original organ part so that it is nothing like as tricky as it would be otherwise. It is a useful and original communion motet. * James L.
