I wish I had had it at the beginning of my own journey it would have answered all my questions. It does not look frightening and it is relatively slim; it is easy to put it down and pick it up later, recalling what you read previously. It will give patients/carers/friends a better understanding of the implications of breast cancer. * Macmillan Cancer Support Cancer Voices * I found the book to be excellent. It deals with facts but without being insensitive to other issues (such as psychological ones) and includes new developments and treatments. It does answer questions that one might not want to ask the medical staff for fear of "bothering" them with non-medical issues.
