A Railway Modellers 'Must Have'
Excellent - 9 out of 10
Paul Bambrick shows how any model railway can be greatly enhanced simply by using his techniques to build a marvellous lifelike backscene. Whether you choose 3D buildings, layered 2D buildings, landscape photos or city-scape photos Paul explains the pros and cons of each.
Why if you have lovingly recreated a railway scene would you not want to set that scene in as best a landscape as you can? Many of us have little room to make wide baseboards for our layouts but Paul can show you how to make relatively narrow boards look much wider and more realistic.
Even if you don't have all Paul's artistic skills you will gain much from reading this book and hopefully even put some of his ideas into practice.
