This was my first ever Marvel Omnibus. Fellow enthusiasts on the John Byrne message board were raving about this so I thought it was time to give the format a go. So glad I did. It's easy these days to pick up old comics in digital format, but there's something special about reading it in print. Make no mistake, this is a BIG book, so you'll need to make sure you can pick it up! But the collection is lovingly put together. You get all of JB's Alpha Flight issues, plus the X-Men comics that introduced them. You even get a couple of Hulk stories, that I remember reading in b&w in various Marvel UK reprints. Well worth a look, especially if you can track it down at under £50 here on Book Etc.
