Heart Warming story about the many turns of a young couple life.
Excellent - 9 out of 10
This is a great read. Two lives intertwined from childhood but taking different paths. Nell and Van are the two main characters in the story and the book tells the story of their lives from age five right through to age forty three in 5 year cycles. They are brought together when their parents fall in love and they move in together in Nell’s’ father’s cottage in Cornwall. Despite initial reservations they soon develop a strong bond and spend all their time together. After a tragic accident Van moves Australia to be with his father and leaves them both heartbroken. When Van comes to stay for Christmas five years later they realise they have more than brotherly/sisterly feeling for each other and they fall in love. The story then follows the twist and turns of their lives from deep sorrow to overwhelming joy you feel every inch of the characters rollercoaster of emotions. Do Van & Nell end up together? You will have to read and see but rest assured the book does not end how you expect. Five Years From Now is heart-warming and compelling yet full of sorrow. I could not put this book down, I just kept reading willing Nell & Van a happy ending.

This book was so enjoyable I did not want it to end.
Awesome - 10 out of 10
An excellent read with a story line that we can all relate to. It was an emotional roller coasters with a happy ending but not the one I was expecting.
Nell and Van are two innocent children whose parents fall in love. Their bond is strong but life takes many different turns. Every five years there lives cross paths and emotions are rekindled. But will they ever be together?
