Susie Collins's world has fallen apart. Her husband, Mike, has been made redundant from the army. But worse is to come when Susie learns that the family finances are much rockier than she realised. Their rebellious twin daughters can't stay at their fee-paying school and there's almost no money left to buy a decent house. These are desperate times and Susie knows she must find a job quickly.
