Synopsis
The town of Iznik in Northern Turkey was home to an extraordinary emergence of ceramic production between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries. The Iznik style is characterized by the colours that make it so recognizable: cobalt blue, green and turquoise. This calendar displays these beautiful tiles from the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum. Informative text accompanies each work and the datepad features previous and next month's views.
