"Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology" presents an account of the remarkable progress made in different areas of neurobiology. This book is divided in five sections containing 24 chapters. Section A introduces the structure and development of the brain, showing how they are specialized for the functions they serve. Section B is concerned with hormones and neurotransmitters. The next section addresses various changes related to aging. The last two sections deal with different types of brain diseases including neurodegenerative diseases.
