To celebrate its 21st birthday, "Eating Out West" has transformed from a magazine into a 356-page A5 guide book which its readers will refer to again and again. "Eating Out West" is firmly established as the market leader for eating and drinking. Serving the 'golden triangle' of Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham as well as the best from the surrounding rural areas, this annual guide is used by local people to plan their meals out with friends, family or business associates. Each year, the guide is fully updated and expanded to reflect the changing food and drink market. This year, for example, it will be increasing its coverage of the Cheltenham food and drink scene, as well as reviewing the many new establishments that have opened in Cabot Circus in Bristol. The writing and research is second to none, compiled by an editorial team drawn from the best local restaurant writers and reviewers, many of whom are regular contributors to the food and drink pages of "Venue" and "Folio" magazines. "Eating Out West 2009" will run profiles, reviews and listing of many hundreds of establishments in Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and beyond.
It will cover restaurants, cafes, bars, gastro pubs, out of town restaurants and pubs, sandwich shops, takeaways, delicatessens and specialist food shops, cookery schools/courses, caterers, food clubs and societies and dining clubs.
