Wowsers! What a read this is - probably not the genre of book I'd naturally gravitate towards but I'm glad this one passed through my radar. From the very first chapters we hit the ground running, with an assassination, and the pace simply doesn't let up until the last page.
A rookie reporter senses that there's more to the killing than meets the eye, whilst the sudden death of the solicitor who met with the assassin soons leads to suspicions of a deep rooted conspiracy.
The hired gun employed to keep the conspiracy secret suddenly finds himself faced with too many loose ends and the chase is on to silence those who may be getting too close to learning the truth.
The action moves briskly from London to Northern Ireland whilst we get closer to the truth of the mastermind behind the whole thing.
Mixing politics, family feuds, a touch of romance and a whole heap of suspense this really is a page turner. Cracking stuff!
