Fun Read!
Excellent - 8 out of 10
This book was filled with laughter and there were a few relatable moments. If you want to pick up something that’s fun and enjoyable, I definitely recommend this!

Tommy Barnes decides to leave his boring job behind and moves to France with his girlfriend Rose and boisterous puppy Burt. With an unexpected baby on the way and money issues causing never-ending worry, Tommy decides to enter the beer brewing business, which is not as easy as he originally thought it would be.

“My plan to make a new life in France was multifaceted, you see. Only a fool would leave a perfectly good office job in London and move to rural France, basing their entire financial future on writing a bestselling debut comedy/crime novel. No, I had a second prong to my idiot fork. I would also start a brewery.”

I’ll be honest when I first started this book, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it much but this was easy to read, laugh out loud funny book. Each chapter starts with a beer recipe and a list of mistakes which started a bunch of giggles, definitely worth a read.

This book is a complete and utter gem
Awesome - 10 out of 10
I saw a feature on this book in The Sunday Times, and bought the book as a present for my husband. But I couldn't stop reading it myself first. It is so funny and inspiring and literally every page is LOL. I loved it for its human story and my husband will love it for the beer and identify with the hapless DIY. A great Christmas gift for most people in your life
